Fidia’s journey continues in the living room, focusing on optimizing the use of materials.
Our production mainly uses solid stone blocks of various dimensions, creating offcuts that could mistakenlybe called scrap or, better yet, leftovers. Mindful perhaps of our craftsman’s and rural heritage, we don’t throw them away; we set them aside, waiting for the right occasion to give them new life and form.
Nicola Gallizia actively seeks a place for these “leftovers” with the Fidia tables. He further develops the concept of the collection, transforming the distinctive shape created by the corners of the Fidia Modular Bathtub into the cross-section of the legs that support low tables and consoles in various shapes, sizes and materials.
The characteristic approach to construction, consisting of the decomposing and recomposing of the solid stone, here opens the doors to the assembling of different blocks, and sometimes different materials, giving shape to new sculptural elements, freeing itself from any constructive dictates and constraints, allowing itself to be guided only by the beauty of the material.
The Fidia Living collection includes coffee tables of various sizes and heights that can interact with each other to create striking compositions for any kind of room.
The collection is completed by the totemic wall console, ideal for welcoming you in your entrance hall or for elegantly decorating the back wall of your living room.
All the elements can be made in a single material or in surprising and unprecedented combinations of materials.
